City Council Votes Down Drug Policy Resolution

- The Evansville City Council fails to pass the drug policy resolution. Councilmembers tonight voted 7-2 against the resolution, with only Missy Mosby and Jonathan Weaver voting in favor of it. Mosby and Weaver were the ones who drafted the resolution.

The non-binding resolution would have support random, voluntary drug and alcohol testing for all elected officials in the city of Evansville.

We'll have more on tonight city council meeting on Eyewitness News at 9 p.m. on Local 7 WTVW and Eyewitness News at 10 p.m. on WEHT Local.
