Graffiti artists have been targeting several buildings on Evansville's south side. This time, the home of a former county commissioner was tagged.

Cheryl Musgrave says she found her backyard fence had been tagged over the weekend. The word "Orth" was spray painted. Neighbors believe it is gang related.

Musgrave says she's been hit about three or four times before but doesn't believe that she's a target.

"You get a terrible feeling like why did somebody pick on me," said Musgrave. "Why did this happen to me. And I learned in talking with police and others that the most important thing you can do is clean it up right away. Because vandals, they want to see their work and they want other people to see their work and they want to be proud of it."

Graffiti is an ongoing issue in the downtown area. Ford Center, the Children's Museum, and the McCurdy Building have been tagged in the past.
