Gov. Pence Proposing Congress Block EPA Regulations

Indiana Governor Mike Pence urging Congress to block proposed Environmental Protection Agency regulations. The EPA recently proposed new regulations on carbon dioxide emissions from new and old power plants.

Governor Pence is calling on some of his former congressional co-workers to block or prevent these new regulations. He says the added burden on the coal industry will only raise electric rates. Pence says coal accounts for around 80 percent of the Hoosier State electricity.
