The law, which sparked mass protests two years ago, says no worker can be forced to join a union.
A Lake County judge ruled the law unconstitutional on July 17. Now, Attorney General Greg Zoeller is working to get a stay of that ruling, so everything remains the same while his office files an appeal.
The law has been challenged in court more than once since it was passed in 2012. This is a case we will continue to follow.
