A Federal Judge has struck down Kentucky's ban on same-sex marriage. But, it comes with a catch. The ruling is also put on hold.
The judge in the case expects the ruling to be appealed. The means it's not yet clear when  couples could actually be issued a license to marry.
Although no marriage licenses were handed out, couples across the Commonwealth celebrated.
The plaintiff in the case says he always knew he would be treated equally. He credits this ruling to the fact that he just never gave up on fighting that ban.
