Police: Former High School Coach Had Sex with Student

UPDATE: Police release the full Probable Cause Affidavit. Police say former Coach Hobson started pursuing a female student at a girls'  summer basketball camp in 2013. The report states that by December of 2013 the girl decided to visit Hobson at his home. Shortly thereafter, the 17 year old female student and Hobson had started a "relationship." The "relationship" included oral sex and intercourse. Hobson has now been charged with felony charges of child seduction and is free from jail on bond.

Former Castle High School teacher and girls basketball coach Beau Hobson has been arrested and released from jail today.

The Warrick County Sheriff's Office arrested the 29-year-old at his home in Princeton on a child seduction felony charge. Hobson was investigated after allegations of his involvement with a juvenile student.

Hobson was released on a $500 cash bond. His initial hearing has been scheduled for July 28, at 9 a.m.
