Police say Pills and Alcohol Factor in Late Night Crash

Indiana State Police say a Vincennes man is recovering after an almost deadly crash in Knox County.
The accident happenend after midnight on Lower Fort Knox Road.
Troopers say Cameron Gillingham was speeding when his car left the road, and hit a tree head on.
He was trapped, but his passenger was able to get out and find help.
Gillingham was eventually flown to St. Mary's where he's being treated for a serious head injury.
Detectives say they found open alcohol containers and prescription pills that don't belong to Gillingham. Investigators believe these are factors in the crash.
His female passenger was not hurt.
