- A hearing is scheduled for two Evansville schools trying to prove its teaching is up to state standards.

Lincoln School and McGary Middle School are in the fifth year of Indiana's accountability system

State education representatives will discuss their progress July 17, and get ideas on how to better serve students.

Those who wish to speak at the hearing will be allowed three minutes of floor time.

The public hearing for Lincoln is scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium, and the hearing for McGary will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.
