A settlement is reached between the Indiana State Board of Education and the company that provides the ISTEP testing.

Superintendent Glenda Ritz says she reached the $3 million settlement with McGraw Hill after last year's widespread testing issues.

The testing servers apparently over-loaded last year, causing thousands of Hoosier students to be kicked off their online ISTEP testing.

Officials say there will be an open bid for student testing starting in the 2015-2016 school year.
