Small but Steady Food Cost Increases across Kentucky

Small but steady. That describes this years supermarket increases across the Bluegrass state.
Last month, the Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation says the cost of 40 basic grocery items was $122.23 cents almost two dollars higher than the beginning of this year.
Pork was one of the highest increases at about $1.52
Experts say Americans spend about 10% of their income on groceries. That's far lower than any other country in the world.
