Suspect Pleads Guilty in Purdue Fatal Shooting

- Cody Cousins, a former Purdue University student, has pleaded guilty to murder without a plea agreement.

The 24-year-old admitted today that he entered the electrical engineering building on January 21, with a gun and a knife.

He then told the court he entered the basement classroom and shot 21-year old Andrew Boldt and then stabbed with with the knife.

Cousins said killing Boldt was his intent but did not discuss his motive.
