People are cleaning up the damage after severe storms roll through central Indiana. A tornado touched down this afternoon in Plainfield, just outside Indianapolis.

Homes in at least two subdivisions were damaged by the storm. There are no immediate reports of injuries, but search and rescue crews went door-to-door in areas along Raceway Rd. near U.S. 40. At least three homes were heavily damage.

A storm spotter also reported a tornado on the ground in Speedway.
