A semi driver manages to escape injury before a train slams into his stuck truck in Hopkins County. It happened before 12 p.m. in Hanson.

The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office says the semi's trailer bottomed out as it was crossing the railroad tracks on Madison St. We're told the train tried to slow down but still hit the truck, pushing it about 30 yards down the tracks.

CSX officials were on scene inspecting the train and it's cargo for damage.
