Update: New Details Released in Murder Suicide

 In the murder/ suicide investigation from 8/24, Vanderburgh and Warrick County Coroners release new information on the events that occurred that day. Corners conclude William McDonald shot himself, and his wife Carolyn's death has been ruled a homicide. 

UPDATE: The Warrick County Sheriff's Department says the 2 victims from last night’s shooting incident are 70 year-old William McDonald and 71 year-old Carolyn McDonald. The couple lived in the 8300 block of Spencer Drive. Detectives say they don't believe anyone else was involved.

UPDATE: The Warrick County Sheriff's Office confirms two people have died from an incident in the 8300 block of Spencer Drive in Newburgh. Neighbors tell our crews on the scene that it appears to be a murder-suicide. However, officials would not speculate.

The incident happened a little after 6:30 Sunday night in the 8300 block of Spencer Drive. That's located near the intersection of Bell and Oak Grove Rd., about a mile north of the Lloyd Expressway. We have a crew on the scene and will have more information as it becomes available
