The old EVSC headquarters will soon see new life. It's being transformed into a restaurant and tap house.

Monday, Evansville City Council unanimously approved the rezoning of the vacant property at SE Ninth St. Members also passed a resolution recommending the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission allow it to serve alcohol.

Evansville attorney and City Council Attorney Scott Danks is the developer for the project, an estimated $2 million investment in downtown.
