A heads up to Henderson County parents who drop their kids off at school. Authorities are teaming up to crack down on u-turns near the high school along Zion Rd.

Parents dropping students off at school are required to pull into the third entrace of the high school beyond Arlington Dr. But officials say some parents are dropping students at the curb then making a u-turn to head back into town.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is expected to install  "No U-Turn" signs at that location Friday.

Henderson Police will be stepping up patrols to make sure drivers obey the signs. Drivers who don't could be ticketed and fined up to
$245.
