Traffic has resumed on a stretch of Oak Hill Road that has been closed since last year.
Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, along with other city leaders, gathered to officially open Oak Hill Road between Pigeon Creek and Lynch Road Thursday.
Winnecke said the 4.9 million dollar project was 80 percent federally funded. The project widened two lanes, added a dedicated left turn lane, sidewalks and a bike lane.
