Purdue University Extends Tuition Freeze for a Third Year

- Purdue University is extending its tuition freeze for a third year. The board of trustees voted today to extend the tuition freeze through the 2015-2016 school year.

This means incoming freshmen for the 2012 Fall semester will complete a four-year period without any tuition increase. That's a first for the university since 1973.

Purdue President Mitch Daniels says its part of the school's efforts to enhance education opportunities for students.
