The Red Cross is offering food, drinks, and shelter to anyone who may need it. Disaster program manager Jason Bradshaw says they've seen a couple hundred people between those who have come in and those who have been served in the streets.
Karen Carter and her daughters helped serve food. Her family received help from the red cross after they lost their home in the 2005 tornado. She says they wanted to give back to those affected by the storms.
"It was great," said Carter. "I mean we couldn't have asked for anything better. The whole community just came together. It was just so heartwarming to know that people you don't even know is gonna come out and help you. And so, that's why we're here today."
Red Cross officials tell us they'll keep the shelter open until everyone's needs are met.
