Richie Farmer is currently serving time in federal prison. But, items left over from his run as Kentucky's Ag Commissioner are serving a Louisville community tonight.
A crowd of more than 400 people showed up in Frankfort to try and get a piece of 13 rifles and 16 knife sets.

In total, they were auctioned off for more than $21,000.

The money is going to fund an urban garden project for the boys and girls club of Louisville.

The guns and knives were purchased while Farmer was in office.

He just started a 27-month prison sentence for misappropriating government resources.
