US Senator Mitch McConnell is criticizing how lawmakers handled a highly-publicized sexual harassment case.

Former representative John Arnold of Union County resigned last fall after three female staffers accused him of harassment.
A state ethics commission found him guilty of it but there were not enough votes on the commission to punish him.

In the Lexington Herald Leader, McConnell accuses Kentucky house democrats of covering it up and that the ethics commission should reopen the case.

The republican's political opponent, Alison Grimes, has echoed that call.
