Settlement Reached for Stage Fair Collapse

It's been nearly three years since an Indiana State Fair stage collapse that killed seven people.
Another chapter is closed in the wake of the tragedy.

Mid-America Sound Corporation has agreed to pay a $50,000 fine and require its employees attend more safety training courses.

Mid-America is the company that provided stage equipment for the state fair.

According to the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the agency and the company agreed to terms of the settlement.

The stage collapsed shortly before the Sugarland concert in August of 2011.
