A South Korean ship with more than 400 passengers on board is sinking off the country's southwestern coast. Hundreds of students are among the passengers.

The South Korean government says 161 people have been rescued. But those still on the ferry were told to jump into the water. That water is around 55 degrees. Humans can survive at that temperature for around two hours.

So far, no deaths have been reported.
