The Daviess County Board of Education has agreed to purchase a building currently owned by Daymar Institute. Once the county purchases the building, they will then lease out a portion of the building to Daymar College.
"One of the great things is this is not going to take a lot of work to move in. Right now, it's a school. We just have some things we have to do, like change the locks, make sure the security system is up to school standards, get some fiber cable laid and technology set. We're pretty close to being able to move in right now," said Owens Saylor, Daviess Co. School Superintendent.
Superintendent Saylor also says that the students could be in the new building by the beginning of next year.
