The Average Gambler Might be More Average than you Think

The results of a recent poll by the American Gaming Association, among US voters, shows more people favor gambling than ever before.
By a 2-1 margin, voters view casino gaming favorably. The majority of people who took the poll felt casino gaming creates jobs, strengthens businesses and overall benefits the communities they serve.
The findings come out just as state policy makers start to re-examine the way some casinos are regulated and taxed.
The results also provide a snapshot of who the average gambler is.
Most are middle class home owners.
2 out of 3 own their own home.
The average casino patron is much younger than past stereotypes would lead you to believe.
Most are between 21 and 59.
Also, they're well-educated as nearly half polled  hold a Bachelor's degree.
They're  mostly religious too, as 2/3 attend church and 25% are born again Christians.
