Threat Puts Local School on Lockdown

A threat found in a student bathroom puts a tristate school on lockdown.

A terroristic threat was written on a bathroom stall at Daviess County High School.

The note said a shooting would take place at 2:30. It was found by a school employee around 2:00 p.m.

The school resource officer and school administrators are aware of the situation. The school was placed on lockdown and Daviess County Sheriff's deputies patrolled the school until the end of the school day.

Law enforcement will continue to investigate the threats.
