Workers at the T.J. Maxx Distribution Center in Evansville ratify a new contract tonight.

The three year contract includes a 50 cent raise each year for the first two years, then a 25 cent increase the third year. This affects close to 1,000 employees.

The current contract was set to expire at midnight. Union leaders say they were prepared to strike if the new contract was rejected.
