Gluten-Free Food Labels Must Now Comply with FDA

Buying gluten free products now actually means that those products must be gluten free in the eyes of the Food and Drugs Administration.

The FDA is now enforcing a rule that foods labeled "gluten free" must contain less than 20 parts per million of gluten.

This new rule is mostly meaningful to those who suffer from celiac disease or who are gluten intolerant

1 out of 133 people in the United States suffer from celiac disease.
