Hyundai has announced two recalls involving Sonatas.

The first involves more than 800,000 2011 to 2014 Sonatas. Hyundai says the transmission shift cable can detach from the shift lever pin. That means drivers could put their vehicles in "park" without the transmission being shifted to park.

The other recall involves nearly 5,700 2015 Sonatas because of a brake issue. One or both of the front brake calipers can fracture due to a manufacturing error.
