Indiana Bill Proposes Direct Wine Shipping

-
Some good news for Hoosier wine lovers. A proposed Indiana bill could soon allow direct wine shipping if passed in the legislature this year.

Right now in Indiana, people are required to buy your wine with a face-to-face transaction at a winery before shipping can occur  to ensure the buyer is 21.

This proposed bill says a customer must provide their name, valid delivery address and telephone number, and proof of age by a state-issued or federally issued government ID showing the customer is at least 21.

The bill has already passed the House and now moves on to the Senate.
