Senate Race Breaks Fundraising Records

The November election is still months away, but the US Senate race in Kentucky is already a record breaker.
5 term Senator Mitch McConnell and his democratic challenger, Alison Lundergan Grimes are locked in a fundrasing showdown.
They've both broken records for single-quarter fundraising.
Grimes brought in 4 million dollars to McConell's 3 million.
Although McConnell has more money overall.
With the way donations are pouring in, Kentucky is locked in as a focal point for the mid-term elections.
