Toyota announces three safety problems with its vehicles.

2004 to 2011 Sienna Minivans have a mounted spare tire under the vehicle that might fall off and crash into other traffic. This is the second time Toyota's recalled the van for those driving it in cold-weather states. The salt mix on roads can corrode the mechanism holding the tire.

More than 10,000 Lexus models are also being recalled. The 2013 GS 350 Sedans can suddenly apply the brakes on their own without the brake lights illuminating.

And dealers will have to reprogram airbag software on the 2014 Highlander and Highlander Hybrid Crossovers. The system has problems judging passenger sizes, and it will not inflate the bags forcefully enough to protect larger riders.
