While Evansville is trying to keep the LST 325 anchored, Peoria is hoping its ship will come in.

Representatives from the city of Peoria say they're hoping to present a proposal for the LST 325 to the City Council on May 27.

City Manager Chris Setti says the plan wasn't ready for the meeting on May 13.
He calls the proposal a 'big deal' and says they 'want to do it right.'

On May 12, Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke submitted a proposal to the board with everything they had discussed when the board toured the river city in April.

LST board member Chris Donahue says the board still hopes to reach a decision by mid-June.
