The woman accused of making threats at Union County High School will be in court next week.

19-year-old Kayla Boshears is charged with second degree terroristic threatening. She's accused of writing what's described as inappropriate comments in a bathroom at the school.

Union County students faced extra security this morning. Their bags were checked with a metal detector as they came in, and all doors but the main entrance were locked.

A K9 team inspected the school overnight, and extra Union County Sheriff's deputies were watching the school all day.

"We felt like we addressed the concern," said Malinda Beauchamp. "However, we did want to provide extra security measures because you can never be too cautious."

Union County School officials tell us there were no problems today.
