1.8 million pounds of ground beef products are being recalled over possible E. Coli contamination. The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service made the announcement today.
The recall covers beef from Wolverine Packing Company in Detroit, Michigan. Affected products were made between March 31 and April 18.
They were shipped to distributors for restaurant use in Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, and Ohio. Officials say they suspect 11 people were sickened by the beef.
A complete list of the recalled products can be found on the FSIS website: http://www.fsis.usda.gov/wps/portal/fsis/home
