Warning: Not for the Faint of Heart

According to the Arrow Fund Facebook page, they are caring for a dog out of Henderson County they believe has suffered extreme abuse.

According to Arrow Fund, they received a call from Henderson Animal Control saying someone may have tried to behead the animal.

He's been named Mooney after the airplane that flew him to the Arrow Fund from Henderson.

There are serious wounds to his head, bite wounds and has tested positive for heartworms.

Arrow Fund officials say they had planned on treating Mooney last night but he was just too unstable.

They will attempt a procedure to repair the wounds to his head today.
