Webster County Man Facing 5 Counts of Attempted Murder

A Sebree man is facing five counts of attempted murder, officials say one of which is towards a Webster County Deputy. Kentucky State Police say 61 year old Tommy Branson fired shots into 137 Vaughn Street in Clay around six Tuesday night. When Troopers got to the scene, they say Branson was inside his car firing more shots at the home, then hit a Webster County Deputy with his car. Troopers fire shots at Branson's car and hit it, but he drove off. Officials say they caught up with Branson after a short pursuit on Highway 132 in Dixon. The deputy we're told was not seriously hurt.
