Chick-fil-A Stand at Atlanta Falcons Stadium Won't Be Open Most Home Games

According to ESPN, Atlanta Falcons fans won't be able to eat Chick-fil-A at most of the teams games this season because the stand will be closed on Sundays.

The stand at the team's new Mercedes-Benz stadium will reportedly still be used when the stand is closed. The signage will be flipped so the stand can be used by the stadium conessionaire to sell other nonbranded food and beverage items.

Chick-fil-A is famous for its chicken sandwich and being closed on Sundays.

Only one of the Falcons' eight home games isn't on a Sunday – a Thursday game against the New Orleans Saints on December 7.

With headquarters in Atlanta, Chick-fil-A has had licensed locations at sports stadiums around the city, including the Braves' new SunTrust Park.

Luckily for Falcons fans, there are many competiting options for chicken sandwiches inside the stadium, which will be available on all game days.

Zaxby's recently signed a five-year deal to be the official chicken of the Falcons. However, fans can't get Zaxby's either because it's not currently offered at the stadium.
