Jasper Aims to Win 14th Semi-State Championship

Jasper baseball has a long tradition of winning, and this season, the Wildcats are keeping with tradition.

The Wildcats already lead Indiana in semi-state championships at 13, but they will try to make it 14 on Saturday against the defending state champs, Northview.

The win would advance Jasper to the IHSAA state finals and give them a chance to win their sixth state title, their first since 2006.

The Wildcats play Northview tomorrow at noon at Ruxer Field. The winner will play in the state championship next weekend at Victory Field in Indianapolis.
