When you think Kentucky Wesleyan, you probably think of the championships on the basketball floor.  This year the baseball team has its sights set on a title. The baseball Panthers are in the midst of one of the best seasons in school history.

Coach Todd Lillpop has his team at 24-11, 12-4 in the Greater Midwest Athletic Conference, good enough for third.

"It's nice to come out here and be part of a winning program," says the coach. "This is one of the closest teams I've ever had."

The Panthers bullpen features one of the best closers in Division II in Noah Boswell.  Boswell, a four year letterman senior for KWC, has racked up ten saves so far on the year, top twenty in the country.

"My mindset is the same no matter what the score is," says Boswell. "That's to throw strikes. I hit a guy [Saturday] and I really don't like giving away bases. I like to throw strikes and let the hitters try and beat me."

Kentucky Wesleyan goes on the road for a series against Kentucky State. They'll play a double header Monday in Frankfort.
