Local Family Makes the City Swim Meet a Family Tradition

The Marx family spends a lot of time at the pool. Their four children, all swimmers, share a love for one thing: the water.

Keegan, Carter, Camden, and Isabelle Marx love spending their summers swimming and bonding over that shared passion.

"My brothers always cheer me on," said the youngest Marx swimmer, Isabelle. "It makes me feel good and swim faster."

When the four siblings aren't swimming alongside eachother, they're often rooting for one another poolside. This weekend, the Marx family competed in the annual City Swim Meet at Garvin Park, where the three youngest siblings qualified for Sunday's finals in multiple events. Keegan, the oldest Marx brother, cheered on his siblings from the sidelines.

The Marx family has been swimming competitively for the past nine years, and they hope to continue their swimming tradition for many years to come.
