Southridge punches ticket to Class 2A state championship

The Southridge Raiders continue to roll.

With a 7-2 victory over Indianapolis Scecina in Class 2A Semi-State, the Raiders punched their ticket to their first state championship appearance in school history.

Southridge did the majority of their damage at the plate in the fourth inning.

The Raiders plated five runs in the fourth frame and cruised to a 7-2 win thanks a complete game from starting pitcher Logan Seger.

Southridge has now outscored their opponents 62-6 in six postseason games.

The Raiders will take on Boone Grove in next weekend's Class 2A state championship.
