Ultimate Dodgeball Teams Compete in Evansville

On Sunday, the Ultimate Dodgeball Championship Qualifier took place at Evansville's SkyZone. The trampoline park hosted the regional event, which squares up dodgeball teams against one another on a wall-to-wall trampoline playing court.

While the rules are similar to the floor-based dodgeball game, the trampolines add a tricky dynamic for the players.

The teams competed for a chance to head to Chicago and play in the Ultimate Dodgeball Championship finale, where the winning team gets $50,000 in cash and prizes.

This is the sixth year for the tournament hosted by SkyZones across the country. The 2017 winner for the Evansville qualifier on Sunday was Team Hazard, a Cleveland-based group that has now qualified for the third year in a row.
