USI Facing Elimination in D2 World Series

Minnesota State-Mankato scored five unanswered runs to give USI its first loss in the Division Two College World Series, 5-1.
Caleb Eickhoff's RBI Single put the Eagles on the board first in the second, but the Mavericks responded against Pitcher Matt Bowles.  USI drops to 47-13 on the season.  Eagles and Mavericks square off again at 4 p.m. today in Cary, North Carolina for the right to play in the National Title Game Saturday.  Stay Tuned to Eyewitness News as Randall Parmley will report on the semifinal game from Cary, North Carolina later today.
