Officials say inmates have been loading the trucks the past seven years as part of a partnership with the Daviess County Detention Center.

"They used to help us deliver," said Daviess County Deputy Clerk Richard House, "but some schools didn't want to have that. So, we've been grateful for them to help on this end because we couldn't get it done without them."

Officials say poll worker training will continue through the weekend. Polls open at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning across western Kentucky.
