The number of flu-related deaths in Indiana this season is now close to a dozen. 11 people have died.
St. Joseph County, the South Bend area, has been hit particularly hard. Six deaths are recorded there. No other Indiana county has reported more than one death.
Health officials say all but one of the deaths were people between the ages of 25 to 64. They say it is still not too late to get vaccinated.
