Today Evansville Police says a man on a scooter fired several shots at another vehicle near Ravenswood and Frederick. Neighbors say a white female with black hair was driving an orange scooter with a black male passenger. The black male shot five times at a red car and the scooter drove off West on Ravenswood. Two black males got out of their vehicle, looked at the bullet holes in their car, and then drove East on Ravenswood. Evansville Police says neither party was present when they arrived at the scene and no arrests have been made.
Meanwhile, neighbors on Missouri St. are still shaken up from a shooting on Sunday morning around 3 o'clock.
"You can't even walk outside these days without looking around first just to make sure you're not going to get your head blowed off before you walk out your own front door. That's how bad it's getting," said Tina Wilkins while showing us the bullet holes lodged in he house.
A neighbor who did not want to be identified says guns are too easy to buy these days and there are other ways of resolving problems.
"Fist fight, like in the old days. When I was a kid man you have a problem you duke it out and when you were done you go fishing. Kids these days are getting stupid with these guns."
"We were raised you protect your family with these two things right here (holding up her fists), not a handgun," said Wilkins.
"If I have to have a gun in my house, if that's what's got to happen then it's got to happen," said April Huffman who has three bullet holes in her house.
Four houses and a church gymnasium were pelted with bullets. Fortunately no one was hurt but neighbors are calling for action before it happens again.
No arrests have been made.
EPD says they are constantly responding to calls in this area and it is one of the more heavily patrolled beats in the city.
