Matthew was found Christmas Eve in his apartment on Hatfield Dr. Detectives say the apartment was ransacked, and several items were stolen.

John Jackson, Jr. is charged in his death and is due in court January 2. Jackson is also accused of stabbing of an Evansville cab driver and robbing an east side gas station.
