Ball State Approves Housing Rate Increase

Ball State University has approved an increase in rates for room and board.
Ball State University has approved an increase in rates for room and board.

Beginning this Fall, students will have to pay an increase of 3.9 percent. The increase does not apply to students who are currently on the premium plan.

Rates for incoming freshman next Fall will be 4.9 percent higher than they were for students last Fall.

For the past five years, the university's room and board rates have increased annually to cover operational costs.
