"Yes it was very inconvenient. I had to make my choice. Do I want to come through Rockport or do I want to come through Henderson," said Newburgh resident Miki Hinman.
"The two months ahead of schedule is exciting, it would be nice. But with the information that they want to go ahead and move on I think that they should just get the work done and be done with it," Hinman added
At this rate of work and with good weather conditions the project could be completed by November 15th of this year. But that date is not set in stone.
"If we get to November 15th and the weather is holding and he's (the developer) got just a little bit left to do then we don't want it to hang out over the summer. We might try to extend it to get him completely finished," said KYTC Chief Engineer Kevin McClearn.
